César Eduardo Gutiérrez Jurado

President

César has been the President of the Mexican Association for International Education (AMPEI) since 2020. He is also the Representative and Coordinator for Mexico within the Latin American Initiative for the Internationalization of Higher Education (INILAT). César was previously Director of International Programs at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua (2014-2021), as well as full-time professor at the School of Philosophy and Letters of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua (UACH) and member of the Disciplinary Group of the School of Philosophy and Letters of the UACH. His international and intercultural vision has broadened through his education. He graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) with a degree in Organizational and Corporate Communication in the United States. He also obtained a master's degree in Higher Education from the Autonomous University of Chihuahua.

The Mexican Association for International Education, A.C. AMPEI is a non-profit association founded in July 1992 with the intention of helping to strengthen the academic quality of higher education institutions through internationalization and international cooperation. The association builds bridges of understanding and is a common space for the exchange of experiences, analysis, knowledge and news about international education of the present and future. AMPEI is an association with legal personality and its own assets, whose purpose is to contribute effectively to the promotion and consolidation of the international dimension in higher education in Mexico. They do this through research, analysis, cooperation and transnational academic exchange, and by allowing the training of people capable of performing effectively in a multicultural society to contribute to understanding, respect and tolerance in the world.
