Diego Hernández Huerta

Director for International and National Relations

Diego has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, specialized in strategic leadership and management. He also has a master's in public administration from Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education. He holds many certifications, diplomas and courses in social entrepreneurship and systemic thinking, as well as a diploma of complex leadership from Stanford University.

He is co-founder and president of the GMUN Institute for International Training and founder of ImproveYou AC, a skills development consultancy. Diego is a Global Change Maker Active Citizen by the British Council, Nominee of the Million Change Agents by Ashoka, and Member of Alternatives for Mexico. He has been named General Assistant Secretary in Guanajuato by the United Nations Information Centres, and is  currently working as International and National Relationship Director at JuventudEsGto.

JuventudEsGTO (Youth Is GTO) is an institute of the Government of the State of Guanajuato, Mexico focused on creating opportunities for the development and attention of youth. JuventudEsGTO allows young people to be strategic actors in the development of the state through programs of internationalization, development and acceleration of skills; international promotion of talent; scholarships; educational credit; public participation; and more by creating alliances with strategic partners.
