Leoncio Monjarás Wintergerst

International Affairs Director 

Leoncio is currently pursuing a master's degree in Protocol and Event Management at the Universidad Panamericana. He is a graduate of the Specialty in Anthropology and Ethics at the Universidad Panamericana. As well, he achieved the Management Development Program (D-1) certificate awarded by the IPADE Business School (2014-2015).

Each year, Leoncio attends at least three international conferences on the internationalization of higher education: NAFSA in the United States; EAIE in Europe; and APAIE in the Asia-Pacific.

Regionally, he attends annual working meetings among a group of Ibero America's Higher Education Institutions in which universities from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Spain, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay participate.

Locally, Leoncio represents Universidad Panamericana as a member of the Consortium for Cooperation and Internationalization of Higher Education of the State of Jalisco, Mexico. The Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology of the State of Jalisco, Mexico and the six main universities of the State of Jalisco integrate this Consortium.

Universidad Panamericana is a private non-for-profit institution of higher education founded in 1967 as a business school. The original group of scholars and businessmen who founded the Pan-American Institute of Top Business Management (IPADE), soon began promoting what is today Universidad Panamericana. IPADE, nowadays, ranks as one the best business schools in Latin America.

Universidad Panamericana has three campuses which serve more than 14,000 students in 33 degree programs in different faculties, colleges, and schools, including Economic and Administrative Sciences, Engineering, Health Sciences, Law, Philosophy, Social Sciences, Pedagogy, Hospitality Management, Gastronomic Business Management, and Fine Arts (Music).
