Name
International University Rankings – Scope, Methodology, Engagement, and Intelligence
Date
Sunday, June 26, 2022
Time
8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (PDT)
Description

This workshop provides a sweeping discussion of international rankings: History, data, methodologies, reliability, politics, and utility. Information will be provided with a focus on the quality and relatability of data and analysis – and how even at times low quality data and analysis can be instructive. Case studies illustrate how universities have progressed or regressed in specific rankings or on specific metrics, and how said occurred. Teams of participants will be asked to design their own institutional rankings strategy, and present it to all participants.

Thank you to Navitas / Fraser International College for sponsoring this session.
