In her position she oversees all activities of international exchange, including inbound, outbound students and the follow-up of international partnerships.

Della Burke has been working in International Education for 20 years. She is currently the Coordinator for Campus Internationalization at ITESO, the Jesuit University of Guadalajara and holds a master’s degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Arizona. Previously, she worked the international offices of a number of public and private universities in the United States and Mexico. In 2019, she led the Commission for Internationalization at ITESO, and guided the interdepartmental team which devised the strategic internationalization plan. Della leads a team of cross-faculty academics to ensure that meaningful internationalization is accessible and increasing across all departments.

Graduated in International Business from the University of La Salle Bajío, with linguistic skills in English, French and German, awarded with the Miguel Febres Lamb Medal given to the best average of the generation.
Her passion for international diplomacy led her to be the founder of GMUN: Model of United Nations for the State of Guanajuato in 2016, which today is recognized by the United Nations Information Center as the largest Model in Latin America. and later, in the year 2019ª, she was the advisor to the presidency of the Inter-Parliamentary Union that was held in Belgrade, Serbia.
She had represented Mexico three times, twice at the Commission of the Status of Woman 63 & 64, at the United Nations Headquarters and at the Meeting of young people of the Americas held on Perú, created by the Organization of American States & and the Young Americas Business Trust.
Currently, she works as the head of international affairs for UVEG.

Currently in charge of the department of internationalization at the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua (Autonomous University of Chihuahua) as well as president of the governing board of the Mexican Association for International Education, A.C. on a second term (2022-2023). Faculty member at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua in the department of humanities.
He holds the position of Mexico’s representative coordinator at the Latin American Initiative for the Internationalization of Higher Education. His international and intercultural vision has widened due to his education in the US where he earned a degree on Corporative and Organizational communication from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). He earned a Masters Degree on Higher Education at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua.
He is currently coordinating the book “Internacionalización de la Educación Superior después del COVID-19: Reflexiones y nuevas prácticas para tiempos distintos” on its digital format whereas the printed version is soon to be published in English and Spanish. He also coordinates a comparative study, headlined by AMPEI, to identify public policies in favor of internationalizing higher education systems among the six main economies of Latin America: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.

Graduated in Law from the Iberoamerica de León University, with a Master Degree in European Union Law from the Complutense de Madrid University and a Master degree in Constitutional Law from the Iberoamericana de León University.

With additional academic training on parliamentary Law and Political Communication by the Iberoamerica de León University, Parliamentary Debate by UNAM, Strategies for Open Government by OEA.

For his working experience, he has been leading important commissions on the governmental sector, such as:

• Researcher and professor at Universidad de Guanajuato.
• Secretary of the C. Governor
• Secretary General of the Congress of the State of Guanajuato
• Undersecretary of Investment and Inclusion for Social Development at the Secretary of Social and Human Development of the State Government, among others.

He is the author of the published "Human Rights, parliament and control of power in Mexico" and the winner for the recognition granted by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, for the proposal presented "On the Reform of the Judicial System"

Nowadays he represents an important mission as the chancellor for the Virtual University of the State of Guanajuato, on of the most important universities for online education in Mexico.
