Description

This session showcases how HEIs leverage student mobility consortia such as University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) to establish bilateral/multilateral agreements, find suitable partners for Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) course development, and receive guidance through the COIL development process. We share concrete examples of recent UMAP virtual networking and COIL development training participants from different regions and disciplines and explore the diverse and rich outcomes of these projects. Join this interactive session to learn hands on how to use and implement COIL collaborations in your HEI. Come and experience COIL for yourself by engaging in a simulated COIL activity with other participants. Discover strategies for identifying potential partners, overcoming challenges, supporting faculty, and enhancing your internationalization efforts.
