Description
During this half-day workshop, we will discuss how institutions can diversify their international student population using data and technology. We will begin with a deep dive into India’s unique diversity by examining India as a continent rather than a country, helping institutions better understand the diverse student population. We will also focus on a key market for Canada, Sub-Saharan Africa, and explore the most common challenges of recruiting students from this region and managing risks, including low visa approval rates and foreign currency issues. Finally, we will explore how using technology and leveraging best practices in admissions from around the globe can help diversify and make your admissions process more efficient.
