Setting accurate expectations for international students is key to ensuring they succeed on arrival. Recruitment agents play a significant role preparing students to navigate a different education system and life in a new country. During this interactive panel session, we will examine some of the most common challenges schools face with regards to student misperceptions on academic workload, realistic employment opportunities, and study/work/life balance in Canada. We will look at how schools and agents can collaborate most effectively to ensure their students are receiving accurate information and are prepared for the transition into the Canadian education system.
