"In the face of declining domestic enrollments, reduced institutional budgets, mounting pressures to meet critical skills shortages, and other relevant challenges particularly arising post-pandemic, optimum capacity building among HEIs proves integral to their internationalization. A multi-pronged approach to enable Canadian colleges and universities HEIs to reach a diverse, global student base and lower the barriers to entry to their campuses include sustainable recruitment, strategic partnerships, and internationalizing the student experience. This workshop explores these three ways to optimize the internationalization strategy of HEIs and build their capacity in this space for sustainable outcomes."
