This presentation will be jointly delivered by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and the Ministry of Municipal Affairs responsible for the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). IRCC representatives will focus on pathways to permanent residency, provide updates on the 2021 National Occupation Classification (NOC), and give public policy updates. BC PNP representatives will share program updates regarding the recent changes including the expanded eligibility for the International Post-Graduate stream eligibility without an indeterminate job offer for university professors and lecturers and explain the changes to the Skills Immigration (SI) scoring to support talent attraction and retention to the regions.
