Rhoda Aguilar

Rhoda C. Aguilar is an accomplished CEU faculty member and administrator with over two decades of experience in the academe. She holds a Doctoral degree in Philosophy Major in Curriculum and Supervision and Master’s Degree in Mathematics both from CEU and has led numerous projects focused on the registrar’s office. Rhoda is a member of the different professional organization.

Nathaniel Bantayan

Dr Bantayan holds a PhD in Geomatics Engineering from the University of Melbourne and a Masteral degree from the Wageningen Research University. As Professor of Forestry at the College of Forestry and Natural Resources UPLB, he led the authorship of the book on GIS applications in forestry and natural resources - a first-of-its-kind publication in the Philippines. He led the establishment of the UPLB Environmental Remote Sensing and Geo-information Laboratory (ERSG Lab). He was Assistant Vice President for Research of UP System and is currently the Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension of UPLB. UPLB has established partnerships with Canadian universities, to name a few: Queens University, University of Dalhousie, University of Saskatchewan, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Victoria Island University, Capilano University, and Brock University. UPLB has existing agreements with University of Guelph and University of British Columbia. With the support of the Commission on Higher Education CHED, these partnerships have led to the establishment of an international network called the Philippines Canada Network for Sustainability or PCNS. To date, PCNS counts 62 Philippine higher education institutions as members spread around the Philippine archipelago collaborating on food security, one health, climate resilience, futures thinking, social justice and culture.

Ma. Cleopatra Macatangay

Ms. Ma. Cleopatra Macatangay serves as the Desk Officer in charge of American Affairs under the leadership of Atty. Lily Freida Milla, Officer-in-Charge, Office of the Deputy Executive Director and Director-in-Charge, International Affairs Service of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). In her role, she manages higher education matters related to Canada and the USA. Ms. Macatangay also assists in organizing delegation missions and education fairs, such as the NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo, APAIE Conference, BCIEW Session, and CBIE Conference, in which CHED and Philippine higher education institutions participate annually.

Michelle Ong
Mabalacat City College

Dr. Michelle Aguilar-Ong, a government and business executive, presently serves as Mabalacat City College's College President. Her tenure as President is marked by numerous pioneering programs with two of MCC's pandemic responses being finalists at the Times Higher Education Awards in Asia.
Her passion for promoting social inclusivity is evident in her programs, such as the Pro Plus for working students and with disabilities, the First Generation for families without college graduates, the I-Peace for indigenous communities, the Life Long Learning for adults seeking workforce reintegration, and the Crimson Honors for academically gifted students.
Under her leadership, MCC has become a benchmark destination. Its exceptional use of technology and community development programs have contributed to this. Furthermore, she implemented effective transformations in student life, internationalization, and organizational culture.
Dr. Aguilar-Ong has a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences from the University of the Philippines-Manila, as well as Master's and Doctorate in Public Administration from Don Honorio Ventura State University, where she received the meritissimus distinction for both. Along with a coaching certificate from the Chartered Management Institute in London, she was a scholar for the Community College Administrators Program by the US Department of State at Florida State University.

Teresa Perez

For over 40 years, Dr. Teresa R. Perez has been a noteworthy leader in the academic field ranging from basic to higher education. She is ranked University Professor and is the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at Centro Escolar University and is concurrently the VPAA at Centro Escolar Las Piñas and VP at Centro Escolar Integrated School.
She took Ph.D in Curriculum and Supervision, MS and BS in Biology at CEU and a Post Doc course in Total Quality Management. She was a PROBE (Project in Basic Education) Fellow in Queensland University of Technology and a UNESCO Fellow for Education for International Understanding, in Ichon, Korea. She attended the training for Internationalization of Higher Education in CBIE and a CHED-Global Academic Leadership Program (CHED GALP) in the Asian Institute of Management.
She is an author, researcher and officer of various professional organizations.

Dr. Erna Volante-Yabut, obtained BS degree in Secondary Education, major in Mathematics, minor in Physics at the University of the Phillippines, Diliman . Earned her doctorate degree in Mathematics Education (2006) with Highest Academic Distinction and Excellence in Research and Master of Science in Mathematics Education (1993, Highest Academic Distinction and Isaac Catalina De Guzman Excellence in Mathematics Research) from Centro Escolar University.
She worked as a Research Assistant and Statistician (1987-1989) in a National Research Project funded by UP-DOST on National Identification where data collection was done to almost the whole part of the Philippines for administering questionnaires and interviews with community members and political leaders.
At present, she is the Vice President for Research, Innovation and Institutional Development, a Corporate Information Officer, Quality Management Representative (QMR) for Quality Management System of the University and currently the OIC of the Graduate School.
She is currently the National President of the Philippine Society for Research and Evaluation (PSERE), Chair - U-Belt Research Consortium, CEU Research and Development Foundation (RDF) and the Executive Secretary of the National Research Council of the Philippines Research Foundation, Inc.
