Theresa is a Global Community (GC) Adviser at the International Centre for Students at UVic, where she supervises and works with amazing students in the GC programs. As GC Adviser, she regularly connects with students at events, workshops, and orientation programs. The Global Community leads a mentorship and conversation partner program, works with students in GC volunteer leader capacities, and regularly consults with international students on our student advisory council. Theresa is passionate about highlighting and improving the shared experiences of international students and building a sense of belonging on campus. Originally from Germany, she first came to Canada as an exchange student before moving to Canada to be with her partner and complete her M.Ed. in Leadership Studies and Community Engagement at UVic.
