Magali advises Canadian educational institutions on the best student recruitment practices, commercial opportunities. and institutional partnerships to be pursued in the Colombian market. She holds a BA in international relations and a Masters’ degree in international relations and diplomacy from the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 in France. Prior to joining the Trade Commissioner Service, she acquired extensive experience in international education both in the private and public sector in France and Colombia working for AFS Intercultural Programs, education agencies, and post-secondary institutions.

Angel Cachuela graduated from De La Salle University in 2001 with a degree in Business Management, specializing in Entrepreneurship. She earned a Forum for International Trade Training Diploma in International Trade in July 2021. She was granted the professional designation Certified International Trade Professional (CITP®) in August 2021, which is one of the leading professional accreditation programs available to international business professionals in Canada. She has worked for the Embassy of Canada in the Philippines for over 20 years, and has been a Trade Commissioner since 2010. She is currently responsible for two priority sectors of Canada in the Philippines, Agriculture and Agri-food and Education.

Veronica has over 20 years of experience in international education. She is based at the Consulate of Canada in Guadalajara, where she is responsible for the promotion of the Canadian education sector in the Western-Bajio states of Mexico including, Jalisco, Guanajuato, Aguascalientes, Sinaloa, Nayarit. and Colima. Prior to joining the Consulate of Canada, Veronica worked at the Jalisco Ministry of Education, at the University of Guadalajara, and at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) Jalisco office. Veronica has a deep understanding of the Mexican education market and a strong focus in facilitating relationships between Canada´s and Mexico´s education institutions and key players in the sector. Veronica holds a bachelor's degree in international relations from the University of Guadalajara and a master's degree in international development from the University Complutense of Madrid. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and French.
