This session will showcase how UMAP member institutions across Asia and the Pacific have successfully developed partnerships with Canadian institutions. Representatives from University of Colima (Mexico), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (Malaysia), Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (Indonesia), Kansai University of International Studies (Japan), and Universiti Brunei Darussalam (Brunei) will share their experiences in international collaboration, highlighting innovative exchange programs, joint research initiatives, and virtual learning opportunities.

Speakers will discuss how they have connected with Canadian institutions, the funding opportunities they have leveraged, and the challenges they have navigated in building sustainable partnerships.
