Making the Case for What Your Team Needs – Essential skills
Date

Description

Getting what you need to do your job effectively is hard. With budgets tighter than ever across international education, getting the equipment, technology, headcount and other resources you and your teammates need is a real challenge. Budget holders need convincing. Hard work and a positive attitude can get you a long way in education, but with more expected for less, those that control the budgets will need serious convincing if they are to allocate money to you, rather than others. You have perhaps reached the point where you wonder how much further your function can go without additional resources but feel concerned about how you could ask for them. This session will help you make a winning case to secure what you need. It will help you navigate a path of persuasion of educational leaders and budget holders whilst maintaining positive, friendly relations. Whether you are a senior leader running a function or a teammate, if you are seeking essential negotiation and business skills to use in your professional environment, this session is for you. The session is delivered by Philip Cernik, of Ecctis, an international education firm and sole operators of the UK ENIC credential evaluation service. Philip has over 35 years’ business and commercial experience, holding a number of directorate positions in international finance with some of the world’s leading companies.
