Bio
Alejandra has been working in leadership roles over the past 30+ creating and enhancing international higher education initiatives and collaboration projects. She is a senior member at TEC de Monterrey in Mexico, where she serves as Director of International Academic Development & Global Initiatives at the Vice Rectory for International Affairs. She also has previous experience as Campus President, Dean, Full-time Professor among other positions in the academic arena. She has experience developing international programs in different countries as well as training, consulting and speaking in conferences worldwide.
Alejandra is a NAFSA Leader at the International Education Leadership Knowledge Community (IEL KC) supporting senior international officers and internationalization leaders and at the e-learning certificate program Leadership Essentials for Comprehensive Internationalization and focused on Developing Sustainable Global Partnerships. She was selected as The PIE’s 50 voices of 2024 – North American edition. She was also invited to participate in the British Council IELTS Advocacy Group in 2024.
