Alejandra has worked at Universidad de Monterrey for more than 20 years. She is part of the Vice-presidency's Office for Liaison, Effectiveness and Academic Services at the University of Monterrey. As Chief Internationalization Officer, she is responsible for planning and managing the Internationalization strategies of UDEM students, faculty and staff through excellence in service and strengthening relationships that generate value and the transversally of efforts, talent and resources, aligned to the institutional vision. Prof. Yanez worked at the Vice-presidency for Strategic Transformation at Universidad de Monterrey as a part of the Curricular Agile Team. She was the Governance and Institutional Relations manager at the same university for 3 years. She was responsible for the planning and development of policy and advocacy strategies as well as the institutional synergies with the external strategic partners. She was previously the director for Study Abroad and Exchange at UDEM, and is a professor in the Social Sciences Department with experience in international education for 20 years.

Alejandra earned a degree in International Relations from Universidad Iberoamericana, and holds a Master’s in Humanities.
