BCCIE is pleased to continue its commitment to the diversification and inclusion of new and emerging international education practitioners in BC through the Summer Conference EDI Bursary. Bursaries will cover the full registration costs and will be awarded to new and emerging practitioners in international education in BC who identify as Indigenous Peoples, People of Colour, People with Disabilities, and members of the LGBTQI2S+ community. Please note that pre-conference workshop costs are not included and there are a limited number of bursaries available. To facilitate the distribution of the bursaries, institution representatives will be able to apply on behalf of employees who match to the eligibility criteria. 

Eligibility Criteria
•    Be currently located in British Columbia;
•    Be a new or emerging practitioner in international education with less than five years of experience; 
•    Self-identify as Indigenous, a Person of Colour, a Person with disabilities, or a member of the LGBTQI2S+ community; and
•    Complete the Summer Conference EDI Bursary application by April 30, 2021.
