Vancouver’s Capilano University and Denmark’s VIA University College have had a very positive exchange partnership between our motion picture arts programs the past three years. Due to travel restrictions of COVID-19, we sought a different way to build our relationship. The result was a virtual Global Coproduction Film Project inspired by the theme of global sustainability. Through this project, around 20 students and six faculty from across the Atlantic worked in teams to have their films selected to screen at the Global Sustainability Short Film Alliance in June 2021. This session will showcase the unique and inspiring outcomes. Please note this session is in Zoom meeting format and may require (optional) audience video/audio participation.
