The field of international student recruitment has become increasingly competitive over the past two decades and institutions are realizing that a collaborative, not competitive approach to marketing and recruitment can be a successful approach in the global marketplace. This session examines the proliferation of destination marketing organizations specializing in international education around the world and how they are making a significant impact on international student perception of specific regions. There are both challenges and opportunities when it comes to regionally based recruitment marketing efforts. This session will identify key themes when it comes to a regional approach that we can learn from to better collaborate together in the future.
