Description

This session has been approved for 1.5 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).

Canada’s global talent pipeline begins in the classroom and extends into workplaces and communities across the country, but the journey is increasingly complex. As international students navigate shifting policies, rising costs, and competitive labour markets, employers face persistent talent shortages and evolving skill demands. Institutions are under pressure to better align programs with workforce realities, while governments aim to balance economic growth, integrity, and long-term immigration objectives.

This panel brings together employers, institutional leaders, and government representatives for a candid, solutions-focused conversation on the future of global talent in Canada. Together, they will explore how each sector can contribute to a more coordinated, sustainable, and ethical approach to attracting, developing, and retaining international talent.
