Dr. Philipp Reichert is a senior leader, strategist, and scholar-practitioner in international higher education. He serves as Director of Global Engagement at UBC's Okanagan Campus, sits on the UBC Board of Governors, and is Senior Advisor for Learning and Development at the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE).
With experience across Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, and the United States, his work focuses on immigration policy, global mobility, institutional strategy, and the international student experience. His work has been recognized through PIE 50 Voices 2025, the CBIE North Star Award, the AIEA Harold Josephson Award, and BDO Top 40 Under 40.
He holds a Master's in International Relations from Universiteit Leiden, a doctorate from the University of Calgary, and an RCIC designation in Canadian immigration law.
