This workshop will explore how to use data to enhance student recruitment from many perspectives. The discussion will begin with a bird's-eye view, looking at the strategic priorities of major destination countries and how these impact student demand for Canada. It will then focus on the findings of IDPs latest research report on prospective international students, Emerging Futures. Following this, the presenters will look at how to market programs that address labour market gaps to new audiences and tell the story of opportunities in Canada.
The afternoon sessions will examine step-by-step tactics on how to write a persuasive brand story for your institution that will resonate with prospective student. Finally, we will finish the day with a hands on workshop that will teach you how to implement an effective digital marketing strategy that supports your institution.
