Description
How do we work with internal and external community partners to help meet the needs of international students? Using the University of the Fraser Valley’s Settlement, Transition and Engagement Program (STEP) as an example, this interactive session offers participants the opportunity to reflect upon and discuss the needs and challenges of international students in their institutions and identify opportunities for meaningful collaboration with community partners. We will share examples of our collaborative journey with UFV’s Centre for Education and Career Exploration and external organizations to support students’ settlement and employment readiness and provide participants opportunity to share their collaborative practices.
