Description

This session focuses on inclusive internationalization and collaboration across sectors. The acceptance of Gateway Program evaluation reports by academic institutions is most crucial for integration of displaced individuals to the Canadian education system. Many referral partners across the country are settlement services partners, and in British Columbia WES has partnered with MOSAIC to deliver the program to their clients. MOSAIC will share the experience as a referral partner for WES Gateway program, how the program benefits refugees achieving their goal in continuing education possible that leads to a future meaningful career in Canada. Some demographic data will be included to provide insight in how to better support refugee immigrants excel to their full talent.
