Date
Tuesday, June 25, 2024
Time
11:15 AM - 12:15 PM (PDT)
Description

The session takes a look not only at overall trends for Canada as a destination, but at the key differences between student interest trends across different regions and between universities and colleges. Global policy and geopolitical uncertainty are affecting student mobility, and there is increasing pressure on the financial sustainability of institutions. In this context, the session delves into data insights that can help institutions plan more effectively. The session looks at the differences in origin countries and in demand for different subject areas for Canada. The session will also unpack Canada’s top subject opportunities – areas where there is high student demand, and low programme supply. A university/College case study then elaborates on how a more nuanced view on data can help manage risk and understand interesting niches in Canada’s Higher Education landscape.
