Brian Leacock is an Associate Teaching Professor at the Gustavson School of Business (University of Victoria), where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in cross-cultural management, organizational behaviour and theory, and strategic leadership.
A central theme of Brian’s scholarly inquiry is the development of intercultural competency for leadership in an interconnected world. His work explores the conceptualization, assessment, and training of intercultural skills through applied research, experiential learning, and coaching. He has a long-standing commitment to equipping students and organizational leaders with the tools to recognize and reduce unconscious bias (UB), foster emotional intelligence (EQ), and build cultural intelligence (CQ).
