Jieni Lim is the International Recruitment Coordinator at Coast Mountain College. She began her career as an international student advisor at a post-secondary institution before transitioning into international outreach and recruitment. She holds a Master of Education from the University of Ottawa, with research focused on intercultural studies, equity, diversity, inclusion (EDI), and intersectionality. She has eight years of experience living and working in Vancouver, BC, and has been based in Northern BC since 2018. In this rural setting, she has engaged in diverse student recruitment strategies and addressed the distinct needs of students in remote communities, incorporating perspectives influenced by Indigenous culture.
