Mr. Ness has significant experience in over 30 years in post-secondary education, with accomplishments and awards in student recruitment, admissions, marketing, and internationalization. He is the Senior Vice-President of Analytics and Consulting at Studyportals, the largest global study choice platform in the world. He supports partners in North America to help solve strategic challenges through the application of global student demand data.
He joined Studyportals after a successful eight years as the Dean of International Education at Humber Polytechnic, where he received the 2022 Gold Medal for Excellence in Global Engagement from Colleges and Institutes Canada.
In 2025 he was bestowed with the Werner Kubsch Award from the CCID, recognizing, “outstanding achievement in international education related to community colleges and similar institutions worldwide.”
