Yazmin has a degree in International Relations for Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. She joined the Canadian Embassy in Mexico in 2014. Currently, she is the Trade Commissioner and Academic Affairs Officer. She has held different positions within the Canadian Embassy, including Public Affairs and Events Officer, General Affairs Officer responsible for the Canada-Mexico Youth Lab, as well as Executive Assistant and Protocol Advisor to the Ambassador, among others. Before joining the Canadian government, Yazmin worked at the Mexican Embassy in Canada and was certified as translator at the Chartered Institute of Linguist (CIOL).

Angel Cachuela graduated from De La Salle University in 2001 with a degree in Business Management, specializing in Entrepreneurship. She earned a Forum for International Trade Training Diploma in International Trade in July 2021. She was granted the professional designation Certified International Trade Professional (CITP®) in August 2021, which is one of the leading professional accreditation programs available to international business professionals in Canada. She has worked for the Embassy of Canada in the Philippines for over 20 years, and has been a Trade Commissioner since 2010. She is currently responsible for advancing Canada's interests in two priority sectors in the Philippines, Agriculture and Agri-food and Education.

Anne-Marie Leclerc joined Canada’s Foreign Service as a Trade Commissioner in 2006. She has served at Canada’s Embassy to Brazil and France. She currently works at Global Affairs Canada's Pacific Regional Office in Vancouver where she is responsible for the Education, EdTech, and Creative Industries sectors.

Nitchawan is a Trade Commissioner at the Embassy of Canada to Thailand, with 10 years of experience in the Canadian government and a decade in Thailand’s private sector. A graduate of a Canadian institution, she supports international collaboration in education and innovation.

At BCIEW 2025, she will accompany a Thai delegation representing four dynamic institutions from Bangkok, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Ratchasima, and Chonburi. The delegation will share insights on how Thailand’s regional universities are transforming their communities through innovation, education, and global engagement.
