Name
Reclaiming Your “Why” - Part 1
Date
Monday, June 22, 2026
Time
1:30 PM - 3:00 PM (PDT)
Description
In a time of heightened uncertainty and shifting priorities in international higher education, this interactive workshop invites participants to reconnect with the foundational purpose – the “why”– behind their work. Drawing on reflection, peer discussion, and future-oriented scenarios, attendees will explore how ambiguity, market pressures, and geopolitical change have reshaped the field, and where individual and collective agency still lies. Participants will leave with a clearer, values-based stance toward internationalization, a renewed sense of professional purpose, and concrete actions or mindset shifts they can apply immediately in their daily practice.
This is part 1 of a 2 part workshop. Part 2 will be offered from 3:30-4:30pm.
