Time
8:30 AM - 9:30 AM (PDT)
Description

Addressing privilege within our education systems is imperative to an institution’s internationalization plan. This interactive session will explore how using intercultural competence frameworks can help in addressing privilege in our institutions. Strategies for implementing the competencies into the different institutional levels from senior management to staff, faculty, and students will be explored. We will present frameworks by drawing from three models in the intercultural field and explore how the competencies can be implemented. Please note this session is in Zoom meeting format and may require (optional) audience video/audio participation.
