Bio
Karima Ramji has over two decades of experience in work integrated learning spanning several co-op programs at UVic, and developed UVIc’s international co-op program in 2007. She currently leads the internationalization of UVic’s Co-op and Career programs through development of international partnerships that create work integrated learning opportunities for students and development of support systems for international co-op students on campus. She also works with Indigenous colleagues at UVic to support Co-op & Career programming for Indigenous students. She is a Certified Advanced Cultural Intelligence Facilitator and Trainer, recipient of the CEWIL Dr. Graham Branton Research Award and current Chair of CEWIL Canada’s International Committee.
