Seyed is an award-winning ELT educator with extensive experience in different capacities – teaching, teacher education, educational leadership and curriculum and assessment development. He has graduated with a BA form ATU in Iran, a B Ed from York University in Canada, a post-graduate diploma from Cambridge University and an MA from the American University of Sharjah. He has maintained a ten-year examining record with International Development Program (IDP). When he was in the UAE, he co-authored a curriculum and assessment framework for public schools and led the development, implementation, and analysis of national English assessments. Before joining UCW, Seyed taught and participated in faculty development at Kwantlen University and Acsenda School of Management in British Columbia. He is currently the Director of the Centre for Teaching Excellence at UCW.
