Robert Landry is Vice Consul & Trade Commissioner at the Consulate of Canada in Guadalajara. Mr. Landry has served Global Affairs Canada as a Trade Commissioner in the Montreal Regional Office since 2000. In this capacity, he was responsible for the Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) and Life Sciences sectors, helping Canadian companies to export overseas. During his time with the department, Mr. Landry has served at several Canadian diplomatic missions abroad on a temporary duty basis (Guadalajara and Rome).
In addition to his experience at Global Affairs Canada, Mr. Landry has acquired valuable private sector experience, including as a Business Consultant, as well as university lecturer teaching business intelligence and marketing.
Robert holds a Degree in Economics from University of Montreal and a MBA from HEC Montreal.
