Choose from three engaging and educational Thought Leader Dialogue Sessions running concurrently on Tuesday morning at 9:45am.
Join First Nations and Māori educators to dive into deep discussions that will take us beyond Indigenization, Internationalization, and Decolonization. Join us on a journey to explore what it means to be truly Indigenous serving and provide our students with opportunities to become community change makers. Our global institutions through International education can support one another to advance the transformative change of our respective academies by not simply creating opportunities to serve more Indigenous students but helping our students to experience what it means to be Indigenous serving. What do decolonized processes look like in practice; re-imagine education that supports the reclamation, resurgence and recovery of Indigenous language, culture, knowledge and identity and infused it in respectful, meaningful ways. This is an opportunity to share experiences and learn from one another as we continue to make that transformative changes necessary to achieve true equity for Indigenous nations and people we serve. Join us to leverage the momentum to make change.
