Zainab Al-koubaisi is the Interim Associate Vice President, International at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU), where she leads the institution’s international strategy and operations across recruitment, admissions, global partnerships, transnational education (TNE), and international student services.

With over fifteen years of experience in higher education, she has a strong track record in driving international enrolment growth, developing articulation and pathway agreements, and advancing global partnerships. She leads complex initiatives and negotiates international agreements that support student mobility and innovative program delivery.

Zainab is recognized for her strategic and collaborative leadership, with a focus on strengthening KPU’s global presence and impact.
