How can you foster belonging, genuine relationship-building, and meaningful student engagement, especially in an online world? International students face unique challenges feeling included in and building their community in post-secondary contexts. This session will introduce you to the holistic commYOUnity approach to international student programming at the University of Victoria and snəw̓eyəɬ leləm̓ Langara College. Engage in discussions about how to intentionally create space for and empower international students to share their diverse perspectives, cultures, and ways of understanding the world that will support them in finding a sense of inclusion throughout their post-secondary journey. Please note this session is in Zoom meeting format and may require (optional) audience video/audio participation.
