In an ever-evolving landscape of international education, this session addresses the imperative of embracing diverse perspectives, particularly focusing on the unique challenges faced by women and LGBTQ+ practitioners, including those with intersectional identities, in professional opportunities traveling abroad. Participants will engage in a constructive conversation, delving into the potential risks and complexities encountered by these groups when navigating unfamiliar cultural contexts. The session aims to explore strategies for institutions to actively include and prioritize the safety and well-being of women and LGBTQ+ practitioners.
